The owner is very friendly and welcoming and makes guests any kind of eggs each morning for breakfast! Scrammbled eggs were superb! There is also a 24 hour self service bar where you can take drinks and write down what you have had (like a mini bar, but reasonable prices and full size drinks) and this is added to your final bill. There are also bikes to hire (do this, and head to Bardolino for a day), and a swimming pool which isn't big, but enough to cool you down. All of the rooms looked unique and ours was lovely with vintage furniture and a great balcony, with a table and chairs and sun loungers. The room also had great air conditioning which was a real benefit.
We had no issues at all with the actual hotel, but it is about a 15 minute walk from the town of Lazise and the beach. We did not find this a problem however. If you hire a car it would be no problem at all.

laid-back atmosphere, a place to relaxe and enjoy without typical hotel conventions; we had a nice, clean and commodius room; La Tinassara is the right place for those who are looking for the exceptional to feel free.

The room is very charming, with a very good decor and a nice fireplace.
The owner of the hotel... Very impolite.. imposes absurd hules as "in this hotel is forbiden to have coffee with sugar". The hotel was in renovation, very noisy. The owner likes to hear music at loud early in the morning, with no regard to the guest's rest... A very nice and interesting place with a lousy service. A shame!

It's a very charming accomodation with nice garden and pool! The proprietor and his dog "Cappuccino" are excellent hosts. Breakfast and service are fantastic but the very best are Guiseppe's guided mountain bike tours. We are looking forward to come back!

Location just within a good walk to the centre of Lazise, very friendly staff knew every guests first name, relaxed atmosphere, and trust in the guests. Good facilities, rooms large and plenty of space. Recently refurbished to a good standard. Honesty bar very good idea and used by all. Breakfast selection excellent with personal touch from host.
Lighting poor in the room on an evening and shutters difficult to open. Air conditioning would be required in the summer, none fitted in the room we occupied. Small bath took a little getting used to with shaped base for standing to shower.

Warm welcome, good position. Room was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit quirky but liked it - no sugar only honey - eggs great - homemade bread.

Charming, over 100 years old house in nice countryside rich with vineyards and olive trees.. Room was very clean with operational fireplace next to big bed (hard madras witch we personally like), free wi-fi and table for 4 persons. 5 min from excellent termal lake, "terme Lazise" in Cola, 20 min from Verona, 15 min from Sirmione (amazing place), and around 1,5h from Milano by car. Best part: 24h check in and very, very nice breakfast that you can have even after 12! Just ask cool owner Guissepe and you'll get mozzarella, ham, scrambled eggs, jam and a lot of other stuff when ever you wake up. Other neat thing is that you can have any drink (even fresh fruit juice) 24h (self service) and with pretty cheap prices for hotel (bottle of nice wine 9eur). Place definitely worth that money.
Cause the house is a bit old (but completely restored) the wooden floor is noisy. Not for light sleepers, but because we always go to bed late and sleep heavily we didn't mind much.

* Precise, cheerful, and supportive emails to 'front desk' (later to discover, is owner), Guiseppe. * setting at outskirts of village; @ 1 mile walk into village * cleanliness, minimalist decor * owner personable; welcoming of each guest * owner also 'colazione', custom chef for each guest. adequate, nice buffet * grounds small, but all garden, pergolas...terrace. small pool * owner's dog: Cappucino. sweet and well behaved 4 y/o * fellow guests: all 'mature', well mannered; social
Not for a light sleeper. Floors above/below..old, not insulated. Noisy pillow material 'slippery', covers slip off. Not comfortable pillows bed: firm mattress only on box frame. Good for lovers of firm, hard beds.
